The EuroGEO Secretariat aims to provide comprehensive support services throughout all stages of the innovation process for entities engaged in the development of Earth Observation-based products and services:
Offering robust methodologies, hands-on assistance, and advanced research collection to facilitate a co-design approach tailored to the Earth Observation (EO) domain. The objective will be to ensure collaborative and market-oriented product and service development processes.
Helping practitioners navigate the vast landscape of data and infrastructure. From finding and selecting the right data and data sources, to providing informative resources and personalised advice to streamline the decision-making process.
Offering a wide range of support and guidance to facilitate commercialisation, including market research, business and financial planning, investment readiness, and effective communication strategies.
EuroGEOSec aims to demonstrate support services that help the EuroGEO community maximise the impact of Research & Innovation (R&I). To achieve this, the project is developing and testing methodologies for innovation and market development through 10 case studies with EuroGEO users.
These case studies explore potential services the EuroGEO Secretariat could offer to bridge the gap between R&I and reaching the market. To address key challenges, five Operational Pipelines (OPs) have been defined, each representing a critical stage in the Earth Observation (EO) value chain. Two case studies will be carried out per pipeline, selected based on survey results and user interests.
By refining these support services, EuroGEOSec aims to enhance the market readiness of EO R&I and ensure it effectively meets user needs.
